About As-Safwah

Description
The institute was initially founded as the ‘Just Start Learning Centre’ by Ustadh Qasim Musa in 2015, providing training and development courses to Syrian refugees and IDPs.
Now renamed as the ‘As-Safwah Institute’, it has grown to provide educational courses, social and physical activities, and organise events for Muslims in the UK and beyond.
Our Mission
Through immersive educational experiences, uplifting spiritual guidance, and engaging social activities, we aim to fortify the faith of our participants, instilling in them a sense of purpose, identity, and resilience.
We strive to create a supportive network of peers who uplift and empower one another, inspiring a generation of confident, compassionate, and spiritually grounded leaders committed to serving humanity and upholding the values of Islam.
Services Provided
Our courses include Immersive Conversational Arabic for all abilities, Tafsir and Hadith classes, history of Islam, a flagship in-depth history of Palestine, the Seerah of the Prophet ï·º, and key Islamic personalities.
